I went to Fairplay, Colorado this weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. South Park is a beautiful area and the drive between GJ and Fairplay is just gorgeous. Unfortunately, I didn't manage my time very well and it was dark by the time I got to the places I wanted to take pictures. On the way back it was snowing so hard I was just hoping to make it down Hoosier Pass alive. I did get a few other decent shots in Glenwood Canyon and near Rifle and DeBeque. I'll post a few of those later. Right now I wanted to share a couple pictures I took in Fairplay last June at the South Park Music Fest.

This was taken from the deck of my friend's parents house just outside of Fairplay. It's a little hazy, but the peak off in the distance is Pikes Peak.
This was taken near the top of Hoosier Pass. No idea what mountain this is.
